EPIC-W UPGRADE

Hello,

i'm not sure if i'm right here with my topic, but i will try.

I bought a SCARLET DRAGON this winter and we are about to finish the ownership transfer now. A few days ago i saw RED is offering a RED OWNER PRICING programm with a 15K discount on an upgrade to EPIC-W. The more i thought about it, the more it sounded interessting for me and my upcoming business to upgrade my SCARLET DRAGON to an EPIC-W.

BUT NOW..
there are a few problems i need some answers, because i don't really understand that much about this.

First of all the original owner told me now, that the body is executed and he made an order for an SCARLET-W with a 2,5K USD discount. He originally posted it that the body was executed, but as a newbie i didn't understood and we never talked about the topic "upgrade". So Problem number one.

Second is that RED is saying on ther website: "Owners of the RED cameras listed below (also my scarlet dragon) are eligible for RED Owner Pricing if they "EITHER" purchased directly from RED, completed the Transfer of Ownership process, "OR" submitted a Camera Registration Form before October 11th, 2016."

So my questions are:
Is it still possible for me to upgrade my body to an epic-w, as he put an order for an scarlet-w on it? (this problem could probably beeing solved if i pay him the 2,5K disscount cash and he cancels it then). And is it possible at all for me to upgrade to an epic-w, as the ownership transfer will be done ofcourse after October 11th, 2016. I don't really get the sentence with "EITHER" and "OR".

I hope somebody can help me with an answer or at least offers me an Epic-W upgrade! )

Hey Pierre,

Unfortunately if the transfer of ownership wasn't done before October 11th there's not much you can do. I'm not sure if it being executed to take advantage of the scarlet-w discount affects the epic-w upgrade or not, but if it doesn't then the only person that can upgrade the camera you have is the original owner if he's still the current registered owner with RED. I hope that helps!

thank you very much for your quick respond and your help! That's about what i thought. Sad story! But i guess i'll try to go for an epic-w by selling the scarlet dragon.
