Epic-W Stolen Atlanta, GA

[Michael R]

Hey all, on Thursday night our Epic-W was stolen from our studio in Atlanta, GA.

The brain is E-W003859

It was swiped while mounted to a Manfrotto tripod with a sandbag on it. It was outfitted with a Canon 135mm f/2L, 1TB mini mag, V-Lock Module, 1 Red Brick, and WC Top and Bottom plates. Just wanted to make the group aware in case these horrible people try to offload it to any members of our community.

Thanks

I'm so sorry to hear that, Very Sad.

from which studio. I too am here in Atlanta. PM me if you need to, I saw on FB you said you had a suspect already.

[Neil Dearman]

yeah what studio? and how was it stolen? you said you had it on sticks and then you put the sand bag on sticks and then it was gone? Also why didnt you post about this sooner... Not trying to sound like a Cop but just wondering?

Hey Neil,

It's my personal production company's studio that it was stolen from. I hadn't posted yet because I've been dealing with the investigative process and there was some hope it'd be a quick recovery. I didn't want to post until I had possession of the Epic-W brain case so that I could include the Brain #. Mainly posting to alert the community to keep an eye out if they see any Epic-W packages matching my description floating around.

Thanks for reaching out, Tim.

Thanks Dave, we reached out to our rep Kevin and are awaiting his response.

I'm here in Atlanta as well. I'll keep an eye out. Best of luck with recovery!
