Epic - W Recording Prores with scratch audio?

[Boris Jansch]

I'm not getting any scratch audio on my prores files from the internal mics when recording in 4k 25p, is that normal? Surely not!

update firmware, then go into your audio settings and jack up the gain, out of the box you would think your getting no audio but it is just really low, one way to test if the mics are working is rub you finger over the mic itself, it wont damage it but it will show levels

I'm getting scratch audio when recording R3D, just not in prores mode at the same frame rate of 25p.

Ill fire mine up in a bit and see what I get, could be some weird varispeed something or other

[Evin Grant]

Are you recording with a 25P time base?

[Boris Jansch]

Hi Evin, yes 25P.

[Boris Jansch]

Problem solved, it was just my gain settings. Sorry!
