Epic W - LCD side and Hdmi not working at same time?

Am I doing something wrong? Top mount only? Or is it suppose to be like that. If so, annoying for drone work!

Using an adapter on the side for my red touch 4,7 and want to mount for example freefly wedge on top

I think the manual states that you can't use the side LCD/EVF port and HDMI at the same time. It's an either-or situation.

That is kind of stupid when you mount the camera to a gimbal for dronwork and top mount is not possible.

I need Booth at the same time.

Normal, It's either active hdmi or active side pogo

That IS annoying! Can you run both pogo's ok (say EVF & 4.7" touch) with HDSDI ok or is that affected as well or is it just an HDMI thing like on dsmc1 when the +1 adaptor hijacks the HdMI output? If so, Eirik, use the HDSDi signal and use an SDI to HdMI converter.

This was not a problem with my Red Epic Dragon, and what is the problem with just the side pogo? Why can´t you either use side or top pogo and hdmi at the same time. Yeah, I know that I should use SDI.. But my wireless solution, my connex, use HDMI, and I really do not want any extra weight with some kind of a converter or by another wireless solution when it really should work as before. I do not understand why it is like that. It is not like that it is unnormal to mount a red to a Movi and looks like Freefly always make stuff for Red first.

No problem when using a monitor for focus pulling that has SDI for other tasks and not wireless.

It is not super big problem, but just do not understand why go for that solution. I can still adjust my settings as before and remove the cable and then get wireless hdmi and not use top mount. But it is kind of nice that when you want to do playbacks, both the one that is starting the playback and the crew standing with the cameracontrolls and wireless hdmi can watch the playback.
