Epic-W Hangs on Shutdown

Hi all,

Having issues with my Epic-W. Every time I try and shutdown the camera it hangs on Shutdown. The fans go mad for a minute and then stop, but the screen never shuts off and just continues to display the "Shutting Down.." until I remove the power.


After this it then takes several attempts to get the camera to boot up, as instead of starting up the fans go mad and the two lights just flash orange.


I have just updated the firmware but it is still doing it. Hopefully someone can help!!!!!

Try holding the power button for 20 seconds when the camera is off. If that doesn't fix your problem, start removing accessories/modules.

did your problem get solved somehow?
I have almost the same issue when using some specific V-Mount batteries on my woodencamera plate with the epic-w and trying to find a solution.

Turns out the problem was with the non-RED battery plate. Put a RED I/O on it and the problem disappeared. The Battery plate has now been sent off to to be fixed.
