So I'm trying to figure out how could I mount my DSCM2 monitor my ronin mx. With the battery attachment right above the camera I don't have enough room for my 4.7 monitor. What kind of mount could I use to maybe attach the monitor to the top of the ronin?

best way to mount is buy a tilta gravity gimbal :eek6: sorry couldn't help it lol....

for the Ronin MX you will need the lemo adaptor (http://www.red.com/store/products/dsmc2-lemo-adaptor-collection) to relocate the monitor to the handle of the gimbal. once there you can use most 1/4-20 adaptors

Hey Devin,

Not sure if this answers your question but I mount my monitor using the actual DJI Ronin MX mount that it comes with and one of the screws from the RED monitor mount which you use to mount it on the camera (I realize this is a dsmc1 not 2). Also I use the Ronin battery with a P-tap to power my RED while it's mounted on the MX, have you considered this?]

I have one of the cheeper carbon fiber mounts found on amazon, but it fell apart pretty fast and had to be glued back together. DJI one is more solid and easier to mount monitor to. Pop a short swat rail on top of it and a swat clamp to you monitor for quick swap.
