Is there any issue with the EPIC only reading voltage from RED enabled V-LOCK & AB batteries.....?
Can we now use any old V-Lock or AB battery with EPIC......???
cheers
Paul

but do i still need to have "RED" modified batteries to see a voltage readout on EPIC, or can i now use any old V-lock or Gold Mount battery...... like the Sony V-locks or older IDX v-locks.......???

I have been using Anton Bauer Dionic 90's and Hytron 140's without an issue. The best thing is how long they last compared to the Red One.

I have been using both Red Bricks and Sony BP-L90's and getting voltage readouts on the Epic. I'm using an ET plate also.

... is RED delivering a adapter cable for the "old" lemo connector so you can use your existing plates? Is it part of the package or does it need to be ordered separately?

It is separate from the package ($190) but your rep will recommend you add it to the order.

With EPIC-M package you get a 2B-to-1B Power Adapter Cable which allows you to use your existed RED batteries/plates.
