Anyone feel like they have a best kept secret on a one man band slider that can support a stripped down Epic/Scarlet? I had a Kessler Cineslider previously and it was a tank, oddly cumbersome. I love the Dana Dolly but not for extended travel because the long tubes needed on site

I'm thinking travel to Ecuador and hike into a remote waterfall and still get the job done without breaking your back.

I know it's a limitation of physics but if someone is out there doing it or as close as possible, I'd love to know what you're using.

But maybe its just not realistic. Thoughts?

I'm impressed that you don't get any warping in the aluminum track. Do you notice any binding at all on the friction sliders? Whats the width/thickness and length you're using?

Love mine. Much better than the skinny sliders that use tracks.

Look at the new GLIDECAM VISTATRACKS.

Ha! Fabian, I use that same size igus for remote shooting as well.. Works great for my d800, pretty darn good for my epic. Just got back from Hawaii with that slider and d800 on my back while hiking. Should have brought a couple bean bags, but made due.
