Thought I would share this with fellow "Red Heads"! We have been struggling with ultra light field camera supports and mounts for tooooo many years! Coming from a still photo background and unto the motion media 18 years ago, I still struggle to get things light, secure and most important "Stealthy".

I have used almost every mount made at least once to find the best and this time I finally decided to have one custom made!

So I asked my buddy Bobby, and he is making a custom set for me and I thought some of you may be interested.

I use Sachtler 20SB head on Gitzo legs, Really Right Stuff Arca-Swiss ball heads and plates. So, Bobby came up with this Recon approach so I can switch between heads and avoid middle plates.

Visit his web site and maybe he could cut one for you. There are two models one Stealth Pro light for Epic/Scarlet to the head of your choice (Sachtler or Arca-Swiss, and soon O'Connor).
Or the Recon duel quick release plate for multiple heads.

I do not gain from this financially. This is a total share thing and please, be kind !

A lot cheaper than the first one I ordered thats for sure!

The single plate STEALTH PRO for Epic/Scarlet to mount on Sachtler, or Arca-Swiss, heads is $125.00 plus the usual, shipping and tax in CA.

The dual RECON PRO for Epic/Scarlet to mount on Sachtler, or Arca-Swiss, heads is $175.00 plus the usual, shipping and tax in CA.

Bobby is working on an order form and a discount of 25% for pre-orders. Watch for his message soon.

They can be ready in about a month, or if we pre-order they could be available sooner.

Hello all, sorry for the delay in being able to respond; I just received my RED authorization. As Kennan has mentioned, we have developed a few plates and currently working on an O'conner version. I am also working on the RTVENG.com website so you will be able to order the plates shortly. I am very excited to join your community, and look forward to working with you all.
