Are the framerates listed available at full resolution or do we still have to use a windowed portion of the sensor to achieve those rates?

Yes, published framerates are for full resolution
but Scarlet does not have the flexibility of the RED ONE in terms of format options and frame rate versatility.

Scarlet is smaller and cheaper because there are less electronics, including compression engine boards, and lower data rates (less heat to deal with).
I'll try to post the chart of target frame rates in a day or two, but Scarlet does not have the flexibility of the RED ONE in terms of format options and frame rate versatility.

And the problem with this is...The problem with making Scarlet too good, is that all people start doing the math and realize that they can replace the R1 kit with a less expensive smaller kit with better quality.
The RED ONE will eventually drop in value, just like any other piece of technology ever made. But that's why Jim's offer of a trade in at FULL VALUE is so unprecedented. Based on the specs and the price, I think they will sell plenty of Epics... there is no other camera like it at any price that I have seen - even on the drawing board - from other companies.I gladly pay less for a extremely good product, but it can also lead to the R1 will drop in price very fast, and that RED won't sell as much Epic as planned. Sooner or later this is bad for all of us.
