Rather than buried at the back of the 4.0.8 Build Thread, figured maybe we should start clean?

I'm still on beta 4.0.9 (on a production), should I go Release? So I can post something here? ;-)

Thanks folks for the improvements. Great leap from 3.x

I had a lot of fun playing with my "new" Epic today.
So far no problems at all and I'm looking forward to test more options of this new official firmware like timelapse and stuff.
Did a little 400fps 1K WS clip today which is located here: match

Cheers

Problems installing firmware

Problems installing firmware

The SCARLET BUILD 4 V4.0.10 had a strange issue for me. I upgraded it but upon startup the only option was to shutdown. It cycled for a few times with the same problem, so I rolled back to V3 and then tried installing it again.

"Firmware Upgrade Firmware upgrade successful. Shutdown." Still not working.

Did you make sure your REDmote was NOT attached? Did you remove the REDmag after the upgrade?

Played with firmware 4.0.10 this weekend and found no problems.....looking forward to using it on a shoot this week.

Can you revert back to a working version? If so please do so and file a support ticket and send in a log file. It sounds like one of the attached peripherals isn't upgrading correctly.

Did we ever figure this out? Having the same problem, only option is shutdown when I install the 4.0.10

I recorded some high FPS footage the other day (varying between 120 or so and about 240, obviously at various resolutions). The clips displayed almost total white on playback from the camera. I haven't actually seen the clips on a computer since I was filming for someone else, but they reported that the files looked fine in REDCine, and I certainly never saw anything on the monitor during recording to account for what I saw on in-camera playback. I did not have this playback issue with high FPS footage on the previous build I was using, which was 3 something. Has this already been reported, or am I the only one seeing this?

Questions :
1. RAW view, our camera is not flat as usual, there's green color also in there, though not so green...
2. Icon behavior T/E...anyone care to explain that ? From manual :
ICON BEHAVIOR
CAL:T/E
- T or E Green - No change in sensor temperature or exposure from the levels recorded during calibration
- T or E Yellow - Slight change in sensor temperature or exposure from the levels recorded during
calibration
- T or E Red - Significant change in sensor temperature or exposure from the levels recorded during
calibration
- The - and + indicate whether the sensor temperature or exposure has decreased or increased
NOTE: The T and E change colors independently of each other.
