  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

EPIC / SCARLET Beta Build 4.08

In the RED Firmware Update for Scarlet v4.0.10 email it said "added: Vertical Monitor Flip"

That seems like what we needed. Haven't had time to install the update but is that not working?
 
Is this the thread where we report problems/ post questions about Firmware 4.0.10? Or is there an other thread?

Is there any work being done on the monitor flip and reverse? Or has RED abandoned this? Seems like something which should be simple to do. I mean I can even mount a Zacuto EVF upside down and have that ability. Also what is going on with the better Fan algorithms. Are we going to have to buy the new fans to take advantage of that?

That is exactly what it does now, it flips both ways, which is what you can also call a 180 degree rotation, and you find the left part of you image on the right, and vice-versa, abolutely unusable for framing!!!
I don't get it. What use is that?
