Epic Rental Rates?

[Brandon H]

I've been looking online as much as I can at the Rental houses that have Epic M's. And the only hard number I've found is on indie rental's site, it says 1700 Daily rate for the Epic M package. Does anyone have any other ideas at what the rates are currently in LA? I know there's at least 1000 M's out there, just curious what the package is renting for.

From what i've seen it's 1500-2000 daily rate for the basic M package (the stuff that ships in the pelican). Is this in the ballpark range?

Thanks!

You're getting a good deal at that rate, I've seen it as high as $2700. This isn't something that rental houses or people renting will talk about on an open forum though because it can be seen as price fixing which is illegal. Your best bet at finding an average is to keep looking around and getting quotes.

Thanks! Just wanted to get a rough idea.

I always rent myself out with my cameras, so I start with my daily rate and tack on for whatever gear I am bringing. How much YOU are worth is your call, and sometimes can vary on where the job is.
