Has anyone, done any shoots or tests with an Epic using the RED PRO T1.8 PRIME SET?
I keep hearing the lenses are great for the price. But I would love to see some images that came out of these.

Sorry Kira the Red Pro Primes are really not that great, especially for the price...

They are in fact "FANTASTIC" he he.

I have few shoots coming up in the next few weeks, some with Master Primes, some using the Canon mount with Canon "L" glass, and some with of course the RPP's, so I'l be sure to post a new thread with this
shoot, and even so they will be shot at the same time this is not for a side by side test, but simply to have a reel of images shot with different glass that inter cuts together beautifully.

And apart from the actual on set needs this lenses are not too far a part as far as image and sharpness, of course one having less artifacts then the other and or a more Super Color matched element then the other might not have, but with today's post option the final product might be quite hard to be distinguished, so at the end one buys lenses in regards to observing the need of workflow during the shoot, Cine Style or not.

Bottom loin is that the RED PRO PRIME and RED PRO ZOOMs are just simply a steel for the quality you get and the price you pay... ;)

Thanks Ketch, that's what I wanted to hear. Good luck on your upcoming shoots! oh and btw, I really enjoyed the Fashion shoot you did in Chicago, it looked Awesome!

Kira, the consensus seems to be that the Red Pro Primes are fantastic quality for the price, but difficult to rent as most renters want Zeiss or Cooke.
