Just thought people could be interested in a practicals class at FXPHD. I just watched the first practicals class and noticed it used epics as the main camera. Has a lot of major hitters helping teach the class with Mike Seymour (i.e. Scott Squires, Marty Rosenberg and Geoff Heron). Class is still open. Just in the first class I learned a ton of stuff on setting up fps and filming angles for doing things like flames. There's a a lot subtleties using a epic with practicals, and they are aware of them and stop to explain what you need to look for(i.e. dynamic range problems with flames, gravity issues with with scale to normalize iso with fps). I'm sure I will have a lot of questions that will be answered, and you can't beat the price having consultants like that.
There is also another cool class going over different lens types and optics with Matt Duclos this semester, but I haven't started that yet.
