  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

EPIC OCTOCOPTER ACTION

the octocopter substituting for a steadicam, crane, and heli all in one take. Your first though is for aeriels, but this just shows you how UAVs can open a lot of new doors for filmmaking.

BTW, where is that, downtown Cleveland? Detroit? (hehe)

I have a project at the end of the year in Chile. The unit will be for sale at some point soon?

Awesome! What other cinema spec camera could you do that with? Yeah, sorry. Scarlet;-)

Excellent stuff Christian. What control system and camera mount are you using? We're planning on filming underground aerials in one of the worlds biggest cave systems using our Hexcopter with the added challenge of lighting it... Hoping to shoot this on the Scarlet if RED can actually supply one in time... otherwise it'll have to be an FS100 or NEX-5n for the aerials. Watch this space...

Wow, you cool mans!, Sometimes we use optocopter for some shoots but your heavy load custom one is simply a piece of art. Congrats.

Vico.

Loved it!

Ach und: wer sind Ralf und seine Ninjas? Gibt's links?

It was one of the most awesome-st sequences I have seen, which had video game related camera moves (you know where in video games the in-game camera moves along with the character). Reminded me of like Oldboy's corridor fight sequence that had a hint of Street of Rage in it.
