  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Anybody had a problem with Epic not accepting external TC? Same cable and same TC source works reliably on Scarlet.
 
Hi Paul, can you describe the symptoms more fully? Is the Time of Day staying set across boots? Can you change TOD? Are you in Edge or TOD mode? Is timecode source set to external ( Settings->Project->Timecode )?

yes TOD internal is solid and I can jam from SDI port from it. I can change to edge code or TOD and yes it is set to external

What is our timecode source for jamming? Does the TC icon change color at all?
 
Source is a pix 240 no color change from epic, this setup works great
On scarlet, so cable is good tried reinstall and all recent release and beta builds
 
OK. Time to contact your bomb squad rep. If your Scarlet is working fine in this setup, but your Epic is not, then the Epic probably needs to come back.
