Epic MX and Iscorama 36

Hi.

In a few days i get back my rehoused Iscorama 36 from Van Diemen and i am shooting a music video on the RED Epic MX with this lovely lens.

Anyone ever did this combination? Since the Red Epic has this Anamorphic 2:1 feature i don´t know how to use it on my Iscorama 36 with a factor of around 1.45 - 1.5x.

Should i just shoot "normal" and crop the image or should i take the Anamorphic 2:1 preset ... ?

I can not test this before so i should have a proper workflow before the shooting.

I tried Epic with Kowa 8z (x2). With Iscorama x1.5 I would suggest to set on camera x1.33 and 'fix' proportion in post. x1.33 is closer to x1.5 than x2. But even with x2 setting on camera, u'll be fine.

I shot with the RED ONE MX. I took the 4K ANA settings which set the monitor to 1:2 aspect ratio. That was kind of OK.
