Before you think about placing an order for a machined EPIC-M, here are some things you need to know.

Some features are being disabled for stability on the EPIC-Ms until the production EPIC-Xs are released. Then a firmware upgrade will turn these features back on.

1. Audio
2. Playback
3. eHDR (HDRx will be enabled and is the professional solution)
4. Various lower resolutions... but all 5K options will be enabled.

Again, we will turn these options back on when the production cameras ship (or sooner).

$58K and no audio. That's it I am buying a DSLR.

/end sarcasm

More than enough for me.

How do i order please.
Thank you
Luis

Hey Jim

Will the EPIC-Ms be anodized?

EDIT: Will they be anodized black?

Thanks for the update Jim, is that why there is no I/O module to ship with EPIC-M?

We didn't want to force anyone to buy that module since it is not mandatory to shoot a movie... but it does make sense to not own one until audio is enabled... although it does do a lot of other things. :-)

Hehe now I know why it was not in the Package deal for the Epic-M ;)

I guess I'm totally cool with it.. so.. do I smell an EPIC Christmas ;)

F'n jealous! DO IT!

Jim, do you need a kidney? Kinda (well) used.....

Audio is overrated anyhow -:)

Jim I know my chances of being allowed to have one of the Epic-Ms are rather slim but if say I was to have one (which will be for my own personal use) do you think it would be safe to try it out on a skiing trip?
I don't need audio but would love to see what HDRx can do with snow, fog and loads of sun :-)

Jim, is the EOS mount available when these Epic M cameras ship? I am very eager to try the Canon 600mm on the Epic. :)

Perfect sense.

Will the battery extension module be available with EPIC-M's delivery?
