  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

That has been at the back of my mind ever since the Fedex guy showed up with my RED ONE. No excuses. It's a bugger.

We haven't heard anyone complain about the features that are enabled... I'm sure you have been reading the posts. Half enabled doesn't fairly represent the current situation. There are features left to go, but there are enough features to shoot a huge budget movie... several actually. EPIC-M is for those who see "what is"... not "what isn't". If you need every feature, please post now and I'll hold up the shipment.

You will have plenty of accessories to work with. Don't worry about that.

But now the pressure is on. If you don't post great footage... it won't be the camera. :-)

yeah Mark, if you don't post the awesome footage we are accustomed to from you, the boss will personally send m over to retun your check.....

Not sure about 16x and 4x but we (Adobe and a partner) showed Epic 5k Full Res in realtime at NAB in Premiere Pro using 2 rockets in 16x slots. 1 rocket is damn close for Epic realtime so you might get lucky with your rig.

well unfortunately my cards are inside a Baselight Kompressor (mac pro tower) and one of the 16X slots is taken by the 10gigE card, so only a 16x left. UNfortunate, the card is 8X, so I know ther eis bandwitdh somewhere, just cant allocate it, like we used to do before.
