Hi all,

Was ACing on an Epic M shoot today on the movi. The Epic continued shooting without issue for 30 mins, then upon battery swap, refused to power on anymore. The Epic would power up for 5 seconds, and would die suddenly. Camera won't reboot, fan turns on then turns off. If anyone knows anything about this or has experience or advice about this I'd greatly appreciate it.

had the same issue with my camera, you should usually get her back up by keeping power button pressed for more than 30 seconds until the camera hard resets. It should get you through the rest of the shooting day but unfortunately it means the camera needs to go back for a check up.

+1 - I haven't had this issue (knock in wood) but the power reset should hopefully get-er back up.

how were you powering the camera?

i would check out the information on your drive, reformat it with firmware, and do a hard reset...

and before you do that, contact your bombsquad rep.
