clean port and good old spit - the water ends up sticking to the port so you are effectively shooting through a thin layer of water, before it starts beading

Great trick I've seen done is rub a raw potato on the port. Works really well.

Saliva works best, spit on the port or lick it just before pressing record, need to dunk the camera in the water to wash off excess spit before recording and to coat the port in water. You have to do this for every wave as it only lasts about 30 seconds.
