  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Epic in LA (Motion Control Timelapse)

Thanks for all the comments. I just wish Epic had some real timelapse settings. 1 sec exposures are nice and all. But I need at least 30 sec to shoot star timelapse. Plus urban timelapse looks better with slightly longer exposures. Really hope the next firmware there will be some kind of timelapse mode. I already use two different black shade settings to switch between night timelapse and regular day timelapse and real-time shots.

Andrew,
What telescope head did you use? I just picked up the Dynamic Perception kit and now want a telescope head.

I used the Celestron Backpacker telescope head for the pan/tilt shots. But if your going to put an Epic or Scarlet on there you will be a little limited to the type of shots you can do. As it can barely handle the weight.

I wrote a blog post about shooting with it and Epic if you want to check it out.
