Seems like there are a hand full of people flying Epics on RC helicopters especially multi rotors. We have two different helicopters that will both fly the Epic at high speeds and stability. This is a commercial we worked on several months ago. We have another commercial coming up that we'll be utilizing the Epic at high speeds as well.

Here is a short behind the scenes video of me flying the Epic hitting speeds of over 60 mph

Here is a nice picture of the helicopter with the Epic on board. Yes, we even carried a RED Volts battery.

And here is some more information about our helicopters and what we do.

We are now transmitting live HD video to monitors with the Paralinx Arrow. We are also able to power the Epic with our own lighter lithium polymer batteries. We can fly the Epic on either a single rotor or multi rotor helicopter. Both have their advantages.

Hi Chris,
How are you using the lipos? We just finished out new custom TREX800E with ACE and its a monster. Can you email me with the lipo set up?

All the best,

I don't exactly understand your question. I use the lipos to power both the helicopter and camera now. Two 6s in series for the heli and a 4s for the Epic.

It this picture we are flying an Epic M with Zeiss 25mm Master Prime for Orange Telecom. You can see the commercial here. Just sharing because I'm quite proud of what we do.

And here is another picture of us flying an Epic X for a Coors Light spot. Fun stuff.

Seriously though, if you are in Canada and want to fly a RED Epic please check us out - http://kaspi.ca.

I don't deny that I have a lot to learn but I think I've come pretty far in the last year.
