Vimeo compression doesnt do the footage justice. VERY LOWLIGHT. A lot of banding. Anyway here's a teaser. Also if anyone knows another website I can use other than Vimeo that doesnt require this much compression.

My first paid shoot with the Epic.
This was a hard one. I posted a thread explaining a problem I had with lighting. I was doing a promo video while the photographer, using strobes, was shooting.

I literally had to shoot in a dim bar with little to no lights. I thought the footage would be a disaster.
GUESS WHAT?
The Epic proved to be the best camera in the world. Shot at 800 asa with ultra primes 100fps on a 25fps timebase. Here's are the first screenshots. Will post the amazing video once I finish editing. I'm completely speechless right now. This is one amazing camera.
No color correction at all a jpeg straight from red cine with no modifications whatsoever.
STAY TUNED FOR MORE.

I didn't realize it's low light capabilities until that night to be honest. The footage is amazing. I wish I could show it to you without this much compression. I made a quarter resolution .mov version that really looks stunning.

Is there any website where I can upload any format I want without transcoding?

Could you upload a .r3d somewhere as well? It actually looks purposely lit to accentuate skin tones (aka the new hotness.)

I think it's because the lighting is all strobes on their continuous mode really close to the models and maybe the grading is a bit much too.

The grading isn't too much, I think it looks great... That's what I was getting at; it looks like it was lit intentionally for accentuating skin tones and it looks really good (to me)... Thicker, almost. The only reason I wanted a .r3d was to play around with the levels to see how far it could be stretched before really breaking down (you mentioned you thought it would be a disaster, but it still looks like you have quite a bit to play with.)

I tried uploading 4k on youtube in 24 hours it only reached about 14 %

I just revisited the footage and changed it to RC3, i must say i was completely blow away. Too bad the client took their final video a long time ago.
