Thanks for responding guys, it's helpful to know what else is going out there. Otherwise I feel like I am living in a box and unsure of what other people's circumstances are. Thank you.

I wrote to my Bomb Rep and they were extremely helpful. I can not speak more highly of the Bomb Rep I have, but he kindly told me that this is what they currently ship with. Maybe everyone should know this though. Not sure what future packages will look like, but maybe future buyers should consider buying a longer cable when they purchase? Maybe not open this smaller one and possibly try and resell it? That's what I would have done at least. Hope someone else can benefit from this information.
