I bought this:

BOYA BY-M100 Ultracompact Condenser Microphone with 3.5mm (bhphotovideo.com)BOYA BY-M100 Ultracompact Condenser Microphone with 3.5mm (bhphotovideo.com)
for scratch sound for the Red Epic Dragon and I can't get any signal...

any help appreciated!!!

Also this:

Amazon.com: EDUTIGE ETM-001 Microphone - Omnidirectional 3.5mm 3-Pole(TRS) Microphone for GoPro, DSLR, Mirrorless Camera or Digital Audio Recorder : Electronics

I can't get this to work neither...
I plug them in front of the camera...
I adjusted the levels for line 1 and 2 properly I believe...

thanks

RED used some funky connection to be able to carry phantom power, so the 3.5mm Jack can’t be TRS/3-ring 3.5mm…. Get a 3.5mm stereo-to-3.5mm mono adapter and it should work (You might also need to play with the balanced/unbalanced setting).
