Epic Dragon & Odyseey Camera Trigger with Wireless

Hi everyone,

We are willing to buy some wireless units, probably a Teradek Bolt or a Paralinx Arrow (SDI options)

We always send the camera signal via SDI first in the chain to a Oddyssey 7Q wich normally records by its "Camera Trigger" funcionability.
Since we normally work with a small crew and we don't always have someone available just to press the record button on the Odyssey...

I can't find information regarding if it will or will not keep this "Camera Trigger" option sending the signal via Wireless.
With an old Wireless IDx unit that we have, it does not work. From there comes our fear

Does anyone know if it will work with this kind of units?

Try a Paralinx Ace or Tomahawk (arrow-X SDI also) or Teradek Bolt Pro - all of those should work. Original Paralinx arrow and arrow+ do not handle SDI run/stop flags.

I was quite / very sure that the record trigger is not carried over wireless video - but Dan is the man when come to wireless, so I guess I am wrong

Yes, I have an Odyssey 7Q with a Teradek Bolt Pro 600 wireless SDI system. "Wireless Trigger" functions with the Weapon and Epic cameras. The older Bolt Pro units work as well. This combo makes a great handled and wireless VTR system.
