north Yorkshire camera hire limited is selling its camera gear ,
looking for a UK buyer to make the sale easier/ safer for all parties
ive changed the listing , and reduced the price. the gear on the original listing is still for sale, for the original price (if you are already speaking to me)
about us (ok, mainly me ..my mum is company secretary)

i'm well known at red europe . alan piper knows me. chris sibling knows me. technical sales guy / sam knows me. the receptionist recognises my voice ..
basically, we've been renting Red gear since the early red one days , but since the dragon upgrade ive only been renting to a couple of regular / trustworthy clients.. so the brain is fairly new (ie, upgraded last December)
..recently my main client has been touring Europe in his new super group , along with his brother (who is in another group also , and they have played Glastonbury festival/main stage.. two years running..) ..im worried ill have to actually make a new website and find a new client .. which means ill need annual insurance again .. and frankly , i can't be bothered.. I'm distracted *
* my interest has firmly turned to software development. in the last 6 weeks alone ive managed to develop a low complexity lossless HDR image compression system.. (which surprisingly, already beats jpeg2000 in terms of compression ratios and encoding speeds).
anyway, id like to start working on software development on a more regular basis
below is list of what will be included in the sale, unless i find more stuff (ill add to the list as I remember what we have ..or if someone asks me to check

nb, all our lenses are "manual"..
the Zfs are full frame lenses, with nikon mounts.
nb, the Zeiss ZF lens caps kept falling off ..crap design IMO.. i decided they were more of a liability than a help (Russian lomo style lens caps would suit me better..), so i replaced them with screw in UV filters..which kept going missing in the early days of renting to new clients.. so then we bought neoprene lens cases instead..so they all had a safe home, regardless of lens caps availability.. so that's what you get. this system has worked pretty well, all the lenses still have good glass. all lenses have proper focus gears added by Trulens services here in the UK
