hi,
i got my epic back with firmware 5.3.35 after upgrading to dragon,
tried to upgrade to a newer version today (did this a few times before - never had a problem),
but it wont work.
when i boot the camera up with the ssd with the forced upgrade folder on top level it does everything it should do (green lights flashing)
but is very fast (2sec of green lights), afterwards the camera powers down, i remove the ssd - wait the 10sec, power it back up.
everything seems updated - all project settings have been lost and so on - but when i check the version number it is still 5.3.35.
already tried:
- various firmware versions higher than 5.3.35
- resetting the camera to factory settings
- various SSD's
- powering the camera on and off multiple times before upgrading
- using the upgrade option inside the settings menu
any ideas?
thank you very much
