Epic dragon and SDI audio monitor compatibility.

I am having trouble playing audio from my Epic Dragon brain SDI output through to my Sony 17" OLED monitor. If I plug the monitor into the SDI on my computer I get audio but not with my camera. I was wondering it might be a hardware issue or a compatibility issue with this monitor. Is anyone running with the Sony 17" OLED and if so is audio playing through the SDI stream from the camera? Thanks in advance.

I've had audio issues with my Sony 17" OLED and my Epic. These days I'm generally running it though a Pix240 as a poor mans video assist and that seems to solve the problem.

I tried a second Epic camera today and the monitor failed to "see" the audio from the SDI. Looking like an Epic/Sony compatibility issue. Weird as SDI is a standard so it should all be the same? Any thoughts for a fix? Thinking maybe a Blackmagic SDI to HDMI convertor?

OK tested further and my Dragon SDI output played out through a Flanders monitor and the audio is good so pretty confident it is a compatibility issue with Red and Sony. No idea who is the guilty party. Is anyone using a Sony PVM 1741 17" field monitor with an Epic or Dragon and getting audio through the camera brain SDI ?
