  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hi all,
My Epic doesn't boot anymore.
After a take, pressing the record button to stop recording, I had a yellow point instead of the red one on the screen. Impossible to re-record again...
I shut-down the camera normally. But impossible to reboot again...

When rebooting, I have the yellow light on the right side, the fans are working, but nothing happens. No picture on the screen, no information on the side handle screen.

I've tried to remove all the accessories, side-handle, module +1, mount... Trying with Red Brick, AC supply... Trying also to re-install with the "force upgrade" on a SSD... Nothing ! :(

Anybody has an idea…?

Michael I had a similar issue a couple of weeks ago. Contact RED support straight away to get an RMA and send the camera in, there is hardly anything else that you can do from your end that could possibly fix the issue for good.
The faster the RED support boys can get you an RMA the quicker you can send your cam off an get it back....I'm based in Australia and I never had to wait for more than 10-14 days to have my camera fixed and back.
