  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Epic Backpack

The backpack part is fine. I don't hike with it. I have used it to carry a lot. Straps are well made. I have a crumpler that is more comfortable.

I just got my Epic this week , and I'm wanting to get a backpack that will hold an epic and 2 or 3 RPP lenses. Along with batteries, cables, LCD, etc. Any suggestions? I'm looking for the best of the best since it's going to be quite an expensive load. :) This is so I can run around grabbing 5K cinema wherever I go!
You might want to consider a Leica LM/ARC mount with a selection of Voigtlanders and Leica M glass. 5 of these lenses weigh as much as 1 retrofocus cinema lens and give stunning results. We are offering a specially modified line of lenses for this mount and the Epic starting....some amazing glass starting as wide as 8mm with a good selection through 35mm. Generally speaking lenses of over 35mm in focal length will work without modifications.

Although I can not actually try one on.... After playing with several this afternoon... the one I CAN NOT try out is certainly looking to be the winner, the Tenba Shootout Roller:

It is a roller, and has what looks like a great tripod system (I will primarily want to lug my O'Connor 515 on some soon to be purchased CF sticks)

Hey thanks Scott - this one will go to the top of my (longish) backpack List!
