Epic and the Cannes Film Festival

[JPSendall]

Hi guys

Shooting a short in Jan 2012 on the Epic. Fund-raising has just started through the now well known Kickstarter website BUT this might be more interesting to people out there (or in here I should say). We are offering to take two people with us to the Cannes Film Festival, flight, accommodation and registration paid by us. You can fly from any country in the world as long as it has a major international airport. Our offer is discretionary, we choose who goes but the application gives you the opportunity to state why you think you deserve it. We welcome applications from film makers and film fans alike. Of course we need to raise the whole budget successfully for us to go let alone any applicant so a little help over at Kickstarter would be appreciated. Applying is free until 12th December.

Pass the word on. Info at these links.

Looking forward to my first shoot on Epic!

PS Mods if you feel this is not the right thread for this post then please feel free to move it.

Nobody want to go to Cannes?

I'll go to Cannes...

[Ivan Kovax]

I will second Gunleik, but what's your catch may I ask...?

Ooooh, the cynicism. There isn't a catch really. I mean we have to raise the money over at Kickstarter otherwise we can't help anyone but I didn't want to force people into kicking in to Kickstarter. If you have the means to donate, I welcome you, if you don't I welcome you anyway. Watch the vids to see what it's about. Once you've seen those then feel free to ask that question again.
