Hi Jack, yes once we attached the side handle correctly we could control the iris with the touch screen and side handle.

Just to be sure, can I use the red one ac power adaptor with the 2b to 1b power adaptor cable to power up the Epic? Or Do I have to buy the epic ac power adaptor?

You can use the MX R1 adapter no problem, when you plug it in you should see 15v. The old 12v adapters will work as well, just not as well of you have janky AC or a lot of load.
