So I have had some time to play a bit with the Canon Mount lately.

A bit early for me to draw any conclusions to how I find it, other than that it obviously works.
And that (to me) the canon glass gives a new look to the camera.
Especially compared to the Old Glass I have used a lot lately...

But I think it could be usefull with a thread on this topic, too.

Posting images, film and how we use it.

So this is just to open the party.

Thanks!

Thanks for opening the party.

Currently testing it with some nice glass, but don't really feel like sharing my opinions and impressions and images before I have spent some more time with it.

Could you elaborate on how you used it? Autofocus or not, and in case of yes, how you used it and how you think it works.

Cheers

Michael, whoah. Amazing looking stuff!

I've been shooting most of my projects on Canon glass, which definitely gets the job done. I can't say that I'm at your guys' shooting level, but I've found it to be quite sharp and have some great color rendition for what it is. I don't use the auto focus much, as I find it's really just too slow to be feasible. Also I don't like using the half stop options in camera, I stick to full stops. Here is a sample, show on Canon L 24-70 and Tokina 11-16 a la scarlet.

Great stuff, guys
I have so far mainly shot with canon glass, and my best way to express the experience is "different" and that i need to familiarize myself more with it, still.

But it is promising...
