Epic 4x4 Nd

Hello,

I am running the motion mount currently for my epix mx. I like it alot... small compact and easy. The thing i dont like is i loose a stop and half of light and have to change my mount if i want more light. I am thinking of switching over to a matte box system. I have been reading around and i am a little confused on what brand of nds to buy for the epic. What would you guys recommend? I have a 4x4 matte box.

I've noticed a lot of people here really love the Formatt Hitech Firecrest NDs. It seems like a lot of cheaper sets have trouble with green / red / magenta casts when hitting 1.2+ stops.

Done a lot of research recently, and the Firecrest ND's definitely look the best. They hold color really well compared to your usual IRND's. Trying to figure out how I can afford some.

Yah matte box is the way to go, just make sure you either get a set with built in IR, or get an IR filter to stack, I have a set of Tiffen ND, but if I had to get 2 filters to start these would work well

the pola has .3 built in and is a WONDERFUL filter I use it all the time
