Just to get this out of the way early. What is the highest framerate Epic will be able to record "onboard"? Is 100FPS the theoretical limit of the sensor, or an actual shooting option?

The pdf says Epic can shoot 100 fps and Red One can shoot 60 fps (no mention of 120 fps in 2k) so I'm guessing 100 fps is onboard, full sensor. That would mean that it will probably do even more in 2k. Maybe 250 fps... We can only speculate.

Red One cannot shoot 60fps onboard at 4K.

thats probably why it needs 100MB to shoot 100fps full frame in RED CODE

yeah, good point. so will write speeds to media (solid-state, harddrive, etc) be an issue?
