Eng style motorised zoom attachement for DSLR lenses launching at NAB

[Scott Brown]

Interesting announcement for those using the Canon mount.

VizTools (www.viztools.tv), developers of accessories for DSLR video, have announced their plan to unveil the HandiZoom™—a brand new combination handgrip and control unit.

I assume it'll work with Scarlet and Epic but not 100% sure - could be great for doc shooters.

Can those going to NAB please check this out?

Could that be moved up to the focus ring to control focus with the zoom rocker??? Anyone?

Someone who is lucky enough to be in Las Vegas, please go to Booth L100 in the “Start up loft” area and talk to them about making a version for the Scarlet/Epic.

Agreed, a Epic/Scarlet version would be superb and would allow us to more easily work in run and gun situations.

I WISH I was in Vegas right now....
