Hey guys,

was as not sure which forum to post this in, but having a bit of a nightmare day.

First day of a 13 day shoot in the Philippines and my 512gb 1.8 turbo red mag has gone down. (Have two 64gb and the 512 leaving me very short. )
Mounting dialog is looping, and won't mount to computer.
We are moving island every two days and I'm trying to work out a way to get some cards to me or if anyone in the Philippines might be able to help?

Or if if anyone has had a similar problem and found a solution?

Thanks.

Hey I spoke to RED over the phone - Apparently due to the age of the old 512's they can't offer much in the way of support especially with me being on the other side of the world at the moment.
I was hoping to find someone selling some red mags over here or renting or something - best option is looking like I can buy direct from RED and they can expedite package over 2 days - problem is we are working on a documentary where we don't have a schedule of locations we are going to - its based upon what we find and when we find it....looking like Im going to be shooting on two 64s and constantly downloading until I get this sorted.

Can you try a different reader? Also, can you try giving the reader separate/AC/wall power?

I know the 512s use more power, so maybe the one that isn't working requires a bit more juice. Also, if using USB, try a windows comp; Apple restrict power to their ports.

You're not gonna get anything shipped to Philippines in 2 days, unless it's to Manila or Cebu. I live in Cebu...
