emergency, quickest way to transcode 1080 prores to Uncompressed SD?

i am in a hurry to transcode a bunch of 1080 prores footages to 10-bit uncompressed SD, what is the quickest way to do it on a macbook pro, thx a lot for any advice !!

Your first issue is being in a hurry. This works against you as transcoding just simply takes time.

Advise you use a more robust machine than a MacBook Pro if you're in a hurry but you probably are stuck with it, so -

If you're using REDCINE, make sure you set the preview resolution to the lowest setting before you hit GO!

Remember, transcoding to Prores takes a while because you're going to Prores. But you say you're going from Prores to UC10bit SD..... Does this mean you already transcoded to Prores?
You can just transcode your footage to UC10 bit without having to make Prores versions first....

Here's what I use - and compared to other solutions I've tried, It's the fastest:

Use compressor, "Advanced Format Conversion". If you are letterboxing, make sure you set it to provide your matte. Be sure to set your MacBook to "Better Performance" in the energy panel.

It's a shame that you ask for advice and all you get is " Your first issue is being in a hurry...", followed by a reference to RedCine which is completely incapable of transcoding Prores to anything.

thx the two of you for the answers, if i knew i would have done uncompressed 10 bit from the begining, but the client ask for good hd footages, and told me after i ve rendered all the footage in prores that his Final cut was 5.0. And he s lazy enough to not upgrade it in a hurry. Anyway he paid me more
