  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Elite Digital Super 35mm HS - mechanical & optical in good order and condition - for sale.
18,24,35,50,70&100mm with feed&meter scale.- they all have a f-stop 1.3 and come with a pelicase .
The entire set was recently fully serviced - will ship worldwide.

Retail for around $38,000 and have a wait list of 1+ years...

Looks wise they are a mix between Super Speeds and S4's. They have 1.3 speed, round bokeh, less contrast wide open just like super speeds, but have the color and creaminess of cooke s4's. Obviously the build isn't as great as either of those.

Heaviest lens is 3.9lbs and the rest are under 3lbs. They are all 85mm fronts, 125mm length except for the 24mm at 170mm.

Well, he's a working DP so not sure if he's on a job or not. I was emailing him back and forth and became facebook friends but haven't heard from him since....So I'm guessing he's on a shoot. Here's his website and facebook page:

He even sent me footage he's shot with the lenses. I'm sure theres a reason he hasn't been responding. I know he has had several offers over $22,000 for the set.
 
We were communicating back and forth over a period of days, agreed a price, did the deal....then nothing. From multitudes of emails in a few hrs to zero....I know he's on a job at moment, but this was last week.

are you sure a price was agreed? he was still taking offers and had quite a few... He was on a shoot last week as well, and was emailing when not on set. At least that is what I was told.

That was the impression i got, i was supposed to send a deposit, then we discussed the possibility of me flying over to collect them. i'm sure somebody knows more than me. It's fine, it's just good to be told if a deal is not going through. i won't discuss it publicly any more i'm sure all will come to light at some point.

Hey Robert,
Hopefully he pops up here soon and responds. I messaged him through facebook as well just now. It's always interesting when someone goes silent since we have seen so many fraud attempts lately. If the seller really is Roman I think he may just be really busy. Hope that is the case.
