Hi,
as I'm doing more photography than filming these days I started looking at some flash systems.
I came accross an older package an Elinchrom Micro 3000 AS with 3 S3000N heads. I googled a bit but didn't find much.
If I'm correct this is from the late 80's. I know with newer systems you can control them from behind the camera, but that's not really important for me.
3000w is probably too much, but I can always dim it down?
My questions.
Is this package worth 550$?
Is it possible to fit the S3000N heads with lower wattage tubes? Or cheaper tubes? Those tubes seem quite expensive. They do come with used tubes though, and from what I could find on internet these seem to last for decades if handled properly?
I know this forums focus is not on photography. That's why I put it in the off-topic section.
I believe there are some members that have extensive knowledge of both photography & film.
Thanks ahead
