The Scale Armor Kit consists of the following 4 components:
- Scale Armor Top Plate – Lighter and stronger than our current Epic Top Plate, the Scale Armor Top Plate should meet even the most demanding requirements. It boasts M4, ¼-20, and 3/8-16 threaded holes for all of your mounting needs, a removable Tape Hook that can be placed right on the sensor plane either Camera Left or Camera Right, a removable mini-cheeseplate insert for when the REDmote is being used wirelessly, and special cut outs to provide optimal air circulation for the top fans.
- Scale Armor Shim Plate – Designed specifically to be used with our very popular Hybrid Bridgeplate (15mm, 19mm, or Dual Studio), we found a way to take something as simple as a Shim Plate and make it even better! As with the Top Plate, the Scale Armor Shim plate is both lighter and stronger than our current Epic Shim Plate, has M4 and ¼-20 mounting holes along it’s sides and additional 3/8-16 mounting holes down the center of the plate.
- Scale Armor Side Plate, CL – A Camera Left Side Plate with style and function. In addition to a slew of ¼-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes for all of your mounting needs, The Scale Armor Side Plate, CL has an innovative spring-loaded door to cover the SSD slot when a mag is not inserted. We take our Armor seriously, and protecting your RED DRAGON from the elements is our top priority!
- Scale Armor Side Plate, CR – We pulled out all the stops on our Camera Right Side Plate! Of course you have plenty of ¼-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes for all of your mounting needs. We also brought the Start/Stop Button as well as the LEDS out to the surface of the plate, and embedded them in an ET Molecule logo. Perhaps the most unique feature of the Scale Armor Side Plate, CR is the addition of a removable insert to allow the plate to be used with RED’s brand new Switchblade-M product. We’re confident that the Switchblade-M is going to make its way into the kits of all RED owners, and the ET Scale Armor fully supports it!
