I have an O'Connor 1030S which uses the mini-euro style touch and go system. Mine has a lot of wobble though and I never use the quick release plate anyways. (Always have an arri standard dovetail attached)

I'm looking for a solid piece that goes from the euro base on the bottom to an arri standard dovetail on the top.

Element Technica made the ET Arri/O'Connor 1030 Dovetail back in the day... not sure if anyone else made one... So, if you have one collecting dust... hit me up!

Hey fellow Weaver,

I have one, but I want to hang onto it.

I'm really replying because you can take the wobble out of your mini-euro...regardless of whether it's in the interface of the euro plate to the head, or the touch and go to the euro plate. Apologies if you already know there's adjustments to tighten up the QR plate to the euro plate.

On my 1030B, the tolerance from my head to the ET dovetail is so tight that I never use it in the way you want to...it's very sticky and not fast. So I'd say there's a chance if you found one it would be the same.

Yeah, my wobble is between the QR plate and the euro plate. Although when I threw a caliper on my QR o'connor mini euro plate it measures only 79mm long... whereas I thought the plate was supposed to be 80mm. I see wooden camera makes a mini euro plate that they advertise as 79.5mm long. I may try picking that up and seeing if it tightens everything up.

I've attempted to adjust the tension on the euro quick release platform itself, and I think mine is just too worn down. (the metal has quite a bit of ware.) but I'll try that again too.

Thanks fellow Weaver!!

was lucky enough to buy the last ET Arri/O'Connor 1030 Dovetail from CVP 3 years ago. Don't understand why nobody is producing these anymore. loving it every day I am using it
