  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

[WTB] Elemack Spyder or Cricket Dolly

Hi,

Looking for a Spyder or Cricket dolly. Mr. Covell is fresh out, and I now regret not buying the last one he had, as I understand it there may not be anymore from them, at least for a while.

I'm also interested in possibly a rehab project, one that has problems or leaks. Just how bad of condition though, depends on condition and price.

Would also appreciate leads on said rehab projects. I'm in the Los Angeles area, so I know there are likely quite a few rotting in dark corners here and there. Any leads welcome!

Somebody else had tuned me into the Goblin sale, but I missed the Spyder in the listings. I'm sure it needs help but hopefully it at least wouldn't be basket cases like the ones on Ebay right now. Yeesh.

I think I've been in touch with your friend in CT, George maybe? It's funny how these things always seem to be around if you do the Googling, but if you really look they only pop up maybe 2-3 times a year. I asked George if he wanted to sell his other one, but he didn't say anything, so guessing not...

If I have time, I hope to make it to the preview for Goblin on Wednesday. Should that happen, I'll take a closer look at their Spyder, get some pix and forward.

George is the person I was referring to. Seems you already had a conversation regarding seals...
He is planning on keeping both.

Yeah, looking for between $3500 and $5500 :-)

There's been a zillion Spyders and even a few Crickets that have traded hands for that amount. If I had $20K to dedicate to it, it'd be a Panther or a Arco, I think.

Oooo, thanks Bryan, that would be incredibly useful, better pictures. The column on theirs looks like it's been scavenged for parts, it looks like maybe a section is missing and the one that is visible is rusted. If so, that thing is not worth very much at all. Like $200-$400.

I'm traveling until the 15th but you can come check out the Elemach Cricket that's at my warehouse if you want.
I don't know the first thing about it & I think the owner wants $6,000???
I'll even put you in direct contact & you can hash it out with him as I'm not looking to make a penny on it.
