no sarcasm, I honestly did not know what you were talking about. WHen you said red was releasing "electronic" lenses, I went and looked at the EPIC/Scarlet promo, which had the information you were seeking, and came back here and gave you the answer.

Anytime a single F stop follows a zoom focal length, it's implied that it's a constant stop.

18-50mm (f/2.8) rather than 18-50mm (f/2.8-f/5.6)
