Hi Guys
Been having issues with Canon lenses lately.
I know it was an issue with earlier camera and/or firmware options, but haven't seen anything lately in the forums.

It's the typical non-display and control of aperture with Canon glass. I've tried a bunch of different lenses to no avail (16-35 f2.8; 24-105 f4, 50mm 1.4 etc.).
Also, camera firmware is current (did the upgrade hoping that would work). I've tried Rediscover etc. But no joy.
Camera is virtually brand new (less than 50 hours on all modules).

Any help or suggestions welcome. Not a biggie but it would be nice to have it working reliably.

Thanks in advance.

The EF Mount is not perfect, especially not the aluminium version. I had 2 break for me. I switched to Titanium and have never had a problem with it.
Often they just need to be rotated slightly to get the connection back. If I get problems and I have a lens on, I loosen the ring then rotate the lens a bit, secure again and try until it works. Then the connection will usually stay working.

Good luck
Andreas
