EF and Nikon Lenses galore!

[Timur Civan]

Just found this great company called Lens Pro to Go. www.lensprotogo.com

Basically its a lens rental company via mail, but its literally as convenient as netflix. They have almost every lens ever made so if theres a new lens you want to try out, or just like renting lenses give em a whirl. No insurance neccesary, but you are responsible for the gear unless you buy an optional insurance rider. I opt for the insurance its like $10.

Got to try out the EF 60mm T/S and the 100mm Macro. Now i know i have no use for a T/S and i have no idea how i lived without the 100 Macro....

These guys are up near me. Good guys. I've also used lensrentals.com and they have been great as well. It's very convenient.

There's only one downside. Unlike a checkout at a film/video rental company where you get to throw the lenses up and see if it's up to your satisfaction, with these companies you may want to factor in some testing time to make sure the lens meets your expectations. Having said that, I've had no issues with the lenses I have received. They seem to do a good job with QC.

So, yeah this is the way to get access to a ton of still lenses (and a few PL mounts) without buying them all.

These companies also have Scarlets available to rent as well.
