Ef adapter for red one mx

Looking for a cheap 2nd hand ef mount to swap out with the pl mount as the ones on ebay are quite expensive new. Any suggestions? Limited options in Australia. Also a cheap red mag to record footage onto?

EF mounts are pretty hard to find on the used market, though you might get lucky here. Leitax still sells them new but be prepared to spend $500 or more. Red mags are also $$$, but there is an ongoing effort to enable the use of third party media. Haven't heard anything in a while though, so that project may be dead.

Quick update here. The Red One EF adapter on from RAFcamera had a note on the product page and eBay listings for several years about it only being compatible with the Original Red One and not the MX. That note is no longer there and at least one person has it working with their R1MX: https://youtu.be/8yEWUIHNU44

Watching the video, I'm once again curious if an e-mount or micro four thirds adapter couldn't be machined for this camera. I think it would have to sit inside of the aluminum-faced ring, while attaching to said ring. But it would open speedboosters and a lot of different lens options.
